MTS Synthese 22 becomes hydrochloric acid tanker with new name
Commissioned by Imperial Shipping we have converted the tanker Synthese 22 to hydrochloric acid tanker.
Together with the client we have developed a tank with rubber coating, a piping system of synthetic material
and synthetic pumps developed which are resistant to hydrochloric acid.
We have also installed a new engine and generators, replaced the wheelhouse, and renovated the accommodation
This practical new ship deserved a new name and now sails under the name MTS Volantis.
