The diesel-electric tanker Synthese 18 completed at De Gerlien van Tiem
After a successful trial run on May 25, mts Synthese 18 will be inaugurated in Rotterdam on June 15, 2022.We completed the hull on behalf of HGK Shipping. The ship is 110 meters long and 11.45 meters wide, has 7 stainless steel tanks of 380 cubic meters each and 6 slob tanks. The ship is diesel-electric powered and has 3 L-Drives with Scania DC 13 engines of 405 kW and 4 generator sets of 300 kW.We thank HGK Shipping for this beautiful assignment and wish the ship and crew a safe journey.
