mts Margot la Fileuse christened
On September the 9th, we have officially transferred the tanker Margot la Fileuse to Wijgula shipping company bv, part of the Imperial Group.
The ship is a type N tanker of 85 meters long, 5.70 meters wide. The tanker is narrow and therefore extremely suitable for navigating on narrow waters such as the Canal du Nord.
Margot la Fileuse is specially equipped to transport iron chloride. The cargo tanks are equipped with a synthetic coating and also the pipes and the inside of the cargo pumps are made of synthetic material. The tanker has a Caterpillar C18 engine of 446 kW.
