Dredger Marian
We, De Gerlien van Tiem bv, have a former well barge of V.o.f. A. de Waardt sand and gravel trade, delivered as a hopper dredger.
By adding a 13 meter spacer and installation and adjustments to a sand dredger, the ship has gained a new destination.
We have completed the ship and installed a Jet pumping system powered by a Scania DI 13080M in the engine room at the front of the ship.
In the nave is a sand pump installed, which is powered by a Scania DI 16. For the drive of the dredger pump in the nave, an Idreco 5050GD has been chosen. In the pumping room, 2 hydraulic overflows ensure that excess water can be bled during loading and unloading. The pumping chamber is compactly built to ensure optimal cargo capacity. Load pits are arranged in the loading area so that the ship can load itself.
